Kevin Michael Schmitz applied his distinctive vintage style to the LA Magazine’s October editorial spreads entitled “Los Angeles Classics.” With an ode to the 1940’s detective “film noir” the men and women are styled in original and vintage inspired clothing from Ted Baker, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and SW3 Bespoke. Bonnie Hofkin tapped into her inner Scotswoman, to create a series of Scottish themed imagery to support the Scottish Highland Gathering and Games of the San Francisco Caledonian Club. Her distinctive illustration style was showcased in paintings of Warriors, Lasses and Crests, as well as the official games artwork below.
Barry Orkin, a talented graphic artist and product designer, did a series for Colgate Palmolive. Orkin’s character design and vector rendering expertise are highlighted on Colgate’s oral care rebranding. He did a series of some different packaging options and character development, including princesses, dinosaurs and open mouth shots with toothpaste.
Mike Bryan applied his photo-imaging magic to create a post-apocalyptic Dublin in the distant future, partially destroyed and covered by a blanket of ice that is the background for the novel “Iced” written by Karen Marie Moning. It depicts the troubles of Dami “Mega” O’Malley fighting powerful beings in order to save the city of Dublin in this futuristic novel.

Jerry LoFaro continues his series of sleepy time bear renditions. In this case LoFaro harvests peach sleepy time flavor for Celestial Seasonings. Between his use of 2d character, character rendering and animated animals, we show his artwork turned to advertisement.
To support this Fall’s “Meet the Coolest Saints Legends” promotion, the Integer Group looked to Artistic Image to add their specialized CGI Photo-Imaging talents. Beginning with just three photos of New Orleans Saints “Legends”; Rickey Jackson, Bobby Hebert & Deuce Mcallister, Artistic Image built an entire CGI background of New Orleans landmarks, and for the final attention grabber an exploded CGI “Saints Legends” Movie Marquee Logo.
David Semple created this Peter Pan cartoon for SAGA magazine (for over 50’s). He was born in 1971 and was fascinated with drawing divers at the age of 3. He has branched out a bit since then, and after art college and a short spell working as a puppet-maker for Spitting Image he became a respected illustrator attracting a broad spectrum of commercial and creative clients.
London’s Ted Baker hired Jerry LoFaro to create the POS visuals to support their Fall 2012 eyewear launch. Working closely with Ted Baker’s creative team of MaryClaire Kirwan and Mike Hewlett, LoFaro created these “fashionista” dummies for oversized posters and as window display lenticulars that sit in speciality thrones.
